Getting Around
Nearest Train Station Cros-De-Cagnes (approx. 15min by foor). In this case, do not believe in your navigator, but turn right after you have crossed the A8 motorway (see the map). This way you will walk finally next to the tracks and quickly reach the train station. The beach is about 15-20 minutes by foot. You can also take bus no. 41 (the same bus goes to the train station) or no. 42.

Cros-de-Gagnes. Charming area, bakeries, cafes and delicacies. On Tuesdays mornings you will find market there. There is a nice playground for children behind the Petanque Stadium. By foor 15-20mins and you can also take buses 41/42.

Haute de Cagnes / Old Town. From Haute de Cagnes you will find beautiful evening views and 3 to 4 nice restaurants, especially in summer, until you get enough of your stay. Petanque and a nice playground for children. Restaurants serves both lunch and dinner. In the evenings, dining begins at around 19:00. In addition, there are smaller bars, kiosk and art / art work shops on the alleys, so we recommend that you also walk around the little alleys. There is also the Grimaldi Castle Museum on the hill. The beach at Cagnes-Sur-Mer is a stone beach, but it is well suited for swimming and childrens beach play. There are plenty of cafes on the beach and also a few beach clubs. You can find also common showers on the beach. The nearest sandy beaches can be found from Antibes and Juan Les Pins. Both of these are nice and shallow beaches where children can swim and play safely. For public indoor swimming pools, we can recommend the Sofia Antipolis' Nautipolis swimming pool (outdoor pool, slide, hot tubs, etc.). By car, drive there takes about 15-20min. There are several public indoor swimming pools also in Nice. From spring to autumn, there is also the large Marineland water park in Antibes.
