Sightseeing

Cartagena is an historical town on the Mediterranean Sea, you can enjoy a walk around the shops, have a drink or some local food in one of the many restaurants or take a walk along the marina front. Cartagena is famous for the roman theater as well as many other roman ruins located around the town. The town has many fiestas including the Mar de Musicas in July and the famous Roman Festival in September.

Calblanque has some of the best natural beaches in Spain, it is a nature reserve so you will not find any restaurants and bars so a tip is to pack yourself a picnic to have on the beach or up on the mountain walks. During the summer months you will need to park at the entrance to the park and take a bus to the beaches for a small fee.

Cabo de palos is located at the entrance to La Manga strip the lighthouse is the focal point and is surrounded by small coves on the Mediterranean Sea. Cabo de Palos is also famous for its great seafood restaurants and is an ideal area for scuba diving

The Mar Menor is Europe's largest salt water lagoon, the unique area is home to many water sports including sailing, canoeing, kite surfing, windsurfing,  jet skiing and parasailing. The waters are shallow and only 8 metres at its deepest making it a great place for families to take a swim.
