The Forest of Dean & Wye Valley is a great location for outdoor adventures both water and land based activities suitable for most age groups and abilities
Early morning and evening trips are great times to go paddling whether it be in canoe, kayak or Paddleboard. These are the best times to enjoy the river at its best as you gently make your way down river through some of the best scenery and spotting some of the wildlife that can be found along the river banks including Kingfishers, Egrets, Cormorants as well as some of the history and heritage of the area.

A lovely walk in the Forest and check out the Sculptures along the routine especially the Stain Glass Window which hangs in the trees above the path you are walking, is one of my favourites when the sun catches the window. You can find quite moments to reflect at various spots on the trail

Forest of Dean has some great Mountain Bike trails Dean Forest Cycles offers bike hire and guided bike rides around the Forest taking you to some great trails. They also have a cafe onsite to re-charge your body after an exciting ride
