Delicious Italian ice and custard. POG (passion fruit orange guava) Italian ice is a favorite around town, but personally, I die and go to heaven every time I get vanilla custard and green apple Italian ice with caramel sauce drizzled on top.

Consistently voted best BBQ in Rexburg but who would guess it, since it's located in a gas station. Don't let that deter you--it's good!

There's a great walking/bike path around the whole park and resident ducks. Bring some quarters and you can feed them.
Great for fishing and right next to a small skate park and 9 hole disc golf course.

The Outdoor Resource center has hundreds of rental options for almost any outdoor activity you can think of.
You can never go wrong with a tandem bike rental though!

The drive thru section of Bear World has elk, deer, bison, moose, and mountain goats. Through a gated fence, you then drive through the bear section--over 45 bears. Best time to go is in the morning, before the heat.
You can park and visit their gift shop, or make your way further into Bear World. They have several park rides (spinning bears, a little train, a small roller coaster etc), a petting zoo (bring some quarters) with goats, pigs, geese and ducks and deer, and the baby bear playground. Watch the babies run around and wrestle. They also offer baby bear bottle feeding and curator tours for an additional fee.
We have some 1/2 off season tickets you are welcome to borrow--just let us know :)

A beautiful, fairly easy nature walk.
Stroller friendly, thought it is a little uphill. Don't feel like you have to be in your workout gear for this--people walk it in jeans and tennis shoes all the time.
Pack a picnic--there are several picnic tables along the path.

If you're willing to travel--Lava (pronounced La-vuh instead of Law-vuh by the locals) Hot Springs is a must!
They have the outdoor hotsprings which are especially nice in the winter, but also an indoor and outdoor pool with slides and kiddle splash pad.

You'll never see anything like it! You probably won't smell anything like their geysers either :) I promise it's worth it.
