Going to Destin and Crab Island in the Summer
If you plan to visit Crab Island during your trip make sure to go early in the AM before the traffic becomes heavy. If you will until lunchtime the traffic will take you an hour to go 6 miles.

The ferries and Crab Island Boat rentals book very early. If you are arriving and decide you want to take a pontoon or a water ferry book it as soon as you arrive as they sell out early.
