This is a wonderful beach the South shore. It is a bit of a hike. Wear sturdy shoes. Make sure you take refreshments and a hat. There are frequent sightings of turtles, squid, octopuses and other fish. Once we saw three Mahi Mahi!

Food scene
Miss Lucy's is known for a great grouper reuben, which should be enjoyed with a Lime in the Coconut. We like to go to the Salt Pond Bay in the morning and to Miss Lucy's for a late lunch.

The Longboard serves great specialty drinks to sip at the bar while watching old surfing videos. Our favorite is The Cane Garden. These folks were generous after Hurricane Irma and supplied hot meals for the community. We love to support them and we make up reasons to go to Cruz Bay to eat their wonderful food.
