In beautiful surroundings at Skansen, the cosy cafe Bårstua is idylically located in one of Tromsøs oldest buildings. The unique location and long history of Skansen provide a very good setting for a pleasant cup of coffee or a meal.

Presis Tapas, established in 2004, is the first Tapas Restaurant in Tromsø. The menu ranges from local, high quality dishes, to mediterranian specialities. It is my favorite place in the city to have a night out with great food and good wine, and at Presis it is summer all year round!

I have been many places, Japan included, and every restaurant I have eaten at is nowhere near beating Rå in their sushigame! This is my number one craving when I get home from a trip and they also have a huge aquarium inside with fish from the norhern hemisphere.

Some of the best burgers in town are served in this bar, which is decorated by vintage game posters on all walls. A 1970s Arcade machine with more than 2,000 games makes sure the guests never leave. Is is also just a stone's throw away from the apartment and you can order takeout!

Not only is Verdensteateret the oldest cinema in Norhterh Europe, it is also my next door neigbour! Inside the movie theater you can enjoy a cold beverage and a great movie, or if you just want to soccialize, Verdensteateret is also a daytime cafe and the best nightclub in town!

TSE offers a huge variety of different activities for the whole family, such as bumperball, archery tag and a huge playground for the kids. Once a month they arrange a Silent Disco, and it is awesome if you want to go out at night to dance and enjoy yourself.
