This place has amazing pasta and pizzas. I've been here many times and haven't had a disappointing dish yet. My favorites are the Gnocchi Bolognese and the seafood pasta on the specials. Delicious!

If you venture out to Astoria, this coffee shop offers a great matcha latte and mugicha (wheat tea), as well as amazing pastries and desserts. It's often crowded but the service is always impeccable!

This coffee spot is closest to the house and is a new addition to the LIC coffee scene. They're well-known in Manhattan and I'm so glad they opened an outpost in Queens. If only the hours were longer!

The Falchi Building has a food hall with Doughnut Plant, L'Arte Del Gelato, Stolle Bakery, as well as a distillery as some of its tenants. Head here if you have a sweet tooth or love gin.

This Michelin-starred restaurant is everything you'd want in a restaurant. Great atmosphere, good service and excellent food. Perfect for a date night or a gathering with friends. I highly recommend their Mole de Piaxtla - the best chicken mole of my life - and their cheese ice cream for dessert - it's scrumptious!
