Love this pub, definitely our favourite in Bewdley as it's a really friendly, proper 'no frills' pub.
For food they serve lovely proper home cooked food, with generous portions but they only serve Wed or Sat night and booking is definitely recommended.
Claire is the landlady and she's really friendly, so too are the staff.

The Mug is popular with a mature age group so it's not full of noisy teenagers :-) and has a lovely atmosphere.
If you're eating you can sit in the pub, or get a table in the separate but connected restaurant.

We prefer the Severn Indian Restaurant but happy to eat here too.

Wonderful Thai restaurant with a fabulous menu and excellent food.
Service can, occasionally, be a bit slow but really not often and they're friendly, welcoming and offer done great views of the river is your lucky enough to get a place at a window by the Riverside.

We haven't eaten here for years and years, no reason other than we prefer a pub atmosphere, so can't really say what this is like now.
