Charcoal for grill, firewood or Envirologs, fire starters such as Duraflame starters, bottled water if you do not like to drink water from a well source, paper towels (we try to provide 1 roll), condiments (we provide basic spices and cooking oil, but due to Covid we do not supply butter or other shared condiments).

Public transportation via buses and taxis is scarce. You should plan on driving yourself to all destinations.

Our chalet is set next to many acres of State Game Lands and other natural areas, meaning wildlife is abundant! It is possible you will see a black bear passing through, or other smaller animals. It is important never to leave trash or food outside as this attracts animals including bears. Also be aware of tick bites, check yourself and children each day after outdoor recreation. You will first need to stop at the Welcome Center to pick up your gate card/pre-registered guest packet. The address is 961 Arrowhead Drive, Pocono Lake, PA 18347. You can then use your gps or google maps to drive to the chalet which will likely route you through the Orono Gate and not the Main Gate by the Welcome Center.
