Sightseeing

Super famous in cherry blossom season (end of March—beginning of April)! Year-round famous for their Hogwarts-styled Suzzallo library and other ancient buildings surrounded Red Square or The Quad. A view down the hill from Red Square is beautiful with cherry trees along 2 sides, the huge fountain—a place our ducks enjoy—and the scenic Mountain Rainier if you are in luck for a clear cloud day! Many sculptures and arts around this huge campus, how about a scavenger hunt for them and share your photos with us? We would love to hang some nice photos of random visitors and what they found during their trip to Seattle in our house!

Locals and tourist’s favorite spot. Great view down the waterfront and the Great Wheel if you are willing to claim up some stairs! Ask anyone around where you can find the 2 or 3 Golden Bigs, which are the donation boxes for local charities. One of the big will be up above where you can find a huge balcony with thousands of little locks that were hung up by locals and tourists on their trips there; it’s also where you can take an awesome picture of the whole waterfront below. *Tips: Mark your own gum at the Gum Wall and watch out for the fun song of the workers at the City Fish Co. every time a person buys their fish (their smoked salmon is great as well)! *Famous Food/Drink shops nearby: _the first Starbucks (take some pictures, skip the line). _Pike Place Chowder. _Beecher’s Handmade Cheese (free cheese tasting). _Le Panier bakery. _Piroshky Piroshky bakery. _Seattle Coffee Works. _Biscuit Bitch. _Mee Sum Pastry. _Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. etc.
