Table Mountain is a must on every tourist's bucket list. You can hike it (consider using Housecat Mountain Tours) https://www.instagram.com/housecat_tours/?hl=en
or simply take the cable car up. Be sure to check their website before making your way to the mountain as the car closes in adverse weather conditions (including moderate to strong winds).

Public Transport - Use Google Maps, select 'bus'
The apartment is located slap-bang in the middle of a number of convenient public transport options.
Option 1: The MyCity Express Stop on Marine Drive
(Milnerton to CBD in 12 minutes, connects to Table View, Bloubergstrand, and Melkbos)
Option 2: The MyCiti Stops on Loxton Road and Koeberg Road (Connects to Century City and the large Canal Walk shopping Mall)

Costumes e cultura
Good Grocery Stores
Centre Point Shopping Center is conveniently located within 2 mins walk from the apartment. Although fast-food options and restaurants are limited this center is great for last-minute groceries, forgotten toiletries or emergency clothing items.
Paddocks Shopping Center is a little further away (3km give or take) but boasts a much larger assortment of specialty groceries (like fine cheeses, meat selection, etc), coffee shops and restaurants.

Avoid Trains
The train service in South Africa is generally in a state of ill-repair. Trains are usually late, full and not very clean.

Mini-bus taxis
Avoid the mini-bus taxis on Koeberg Road - they often disobey traffic rules and tend to be over-crowded. Rather use an Uber or the MyCity buses.
In the CBD minibus taxis are a convenient way of getting around the city (although MyCity buses are easier to navigate) because you can get on or off at any point with enough warning to the driver. Should you use these, make sure that you have a good map of the city and that you know which route the taxi operates on. Routes are fixed and generally cover small areas.
