Beach time!
Glyfada beach is my all time personal favourite, as it is one of the closest to the city ( about 30mins drive) and easy to get to.
The beach is very big, both in length and width and organised with many shops and beach bars. There are many loungers you can rent, or simply find a spot on the sand!
The busiest spot is at the center of the beach in front of the main car park/beach bar (Pazuzu). You can also walk to the far left and find a more quiet space : )

A beautiful and unique beach with a mix of pebbles and sand. Sparkling clean green waters in a green and rocky scenery.
You can get there by boat or car. If you drive, please note you should better park high up on the main road and walk down (about 800m) as the road to the small car park/beach is very narrow and steep.
Not an organised beach so pack food and plenty of water!
The boat ride from Paleokastritsa is also worth it and you can also try touring the nearby beaches, including the secret Paradise beach, only accessible by boat!

Rovinia Beach
A beautiful and unique beach with a mix of pebbles and sand. Sparkling clean green waters in a green and rocky scenery.

Another one of my favourites, Arillas Beach at the north west of Corfu, offers long stretches of sand, good beach bars and if you are into it nudist spots at both of the far ends of the beach!
It is a good one hour drive from the city, but you could combine it with a visit to the famous Loggas beach and 7th Heaven bar, offering amazing sunset views.
A bit further north you can also find Cape Drastis scenic view.

One of the few places in Corfu Town that in my opinion combine good food and a gorgeous setting.
Great pizza and pasta dishes in a beautiful garden setting with excellent service. Also easy parking on site, just behind the restaurant.

Very friendly hosts, excellent service and great food without the price tag.
Can be combined with a visit to Halikounas Beach (nothing like a good shrimp pasta after a long day at the bach!)

Very friendly hosts, excellent service and great food without the price tag.
Can be combined with a visit to Halikounas Beach (nothing like a good shrimp pasta after a long day at the bach!)
Greek souvlaki at its best! If you are lucky to find a table, take a seat and enjoy people watching and good food. The chicken souvlaki is my favourite!

Benitses is a small seaside village that hosts two of the best taverns in Corfu, Paxinos and Klimataria Seafood Restaurant (Or simply Bellos from the owner's surname). The village also offers a decent beach and is great for a short trip out of the city (about 25 mins drive).
On your way there, stop at Monte Cafe and enjoy great service, amazing coffee and the best crepes and waffles in Corfu!
