The North Country Trail follows the Manistee River. The closest place to get on the trail is at the 131 exit north of Manton. Travel west to the 131 campground for some great views and an esy wal kto and fro. You cn also head north toward Fife Lake. NO NEED TO DRIVE TO SUPPLY RD> THIS IS CLOSER!!
