Stop in to the glass blowing workshop on your way to the Island. There is an indoor museum and an outdoor site. Highly recommend the archeology tour! There is also a 3 or 6 mile loop around the island which is an excellent car or bike tour.

Just 25 minutes down Route 5 you'll find the home of 10th President John Tyler. Call as far in advance as you can for a house tour and tell them Emily sent you :)

CW Parking
Many of the parking lots in the CW area have been converted to paid lots (to the dismay of us locals). An app is required for payment. Tavern parking (on Francis St.) is still free, as are a few small lots closer to Merchants Square. There is also a parking garage on Henry St. near Kilwins which I believe is cheaper than the new lots.
