Alevely Country park and River walks
Alveley country park is a very short walk from the cottage. There is a cafe and lovely walks around the park on Alveley side of the river however if you cross over the bridge and turn left I can highly recommend the walk down to Bewdley.
The route takes you along a very scenic path at the side of the rive passing The Ship inn and Harbor pubs that are both great for refreshments and for a meal.
Bewdley itself is a lovey historic town with a hidden park by the little museum and bespoke little shops to brows in . If you like fish and chips the visit Marchent's award winning shop right by the bridge.
If you don't fancy to much of a walk back then you can get the train back up to Highley station . (please check train times at www.svr..co.uk)
If you go right over the bridge you can walk right up to Bridgnorth , you can also catch the train from Highly into low town Bridgnorth.

Tea and Roses right in the middle of the high street is one of my favorite places to have a lovely brew and a big slice of cake!

visit and walk around the lake and woods.
Comer woods are just the other side of the road and has great tracks to both bike ride on and walk around.

This Natural trust property is both lovely to
visit and walk around the lake and woods.

The view from the top are stunning. Some of the tracks are quite steep however if you go past the rock house/cafe the paths are a little gentler.
The Natural Trust Rock Houses are also here along with a lovely little tea room.

Kinver Edge
The view from the top are stunning. Some of the tracks are quite steep however if you go past the rock house/cafe the paths are a little gentler.
The Natural Trust Rock Houses are also here along with a lovely little tea room.
