A.K.A Stairway to heaven. 20 minutes drive away This route meanders through one of the largest expanses of blanket bog in Northern Ireland, traversing over tracks, boardwalk and staircase. A steep climb is required to reach the viewing platform on Cuilcagh Mountain which provides breath taking views of the surrounding low lands. Duration: 3 -5 hours walk depending on fitness level/how long you want to stay at the platform at the summit. The trail consists of a 4km road walk before starting the ascent up the boardwalk, and to exit you must return along the trail. The boardwalk is steep and physically challenging, so be prepared to go wearing suitable walking/hiking gear and bring plenty of water. Directions: Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail, Marlbank Rd, Florencecourt, Enniskillen BT92 1ER The car park will be on your left hand side. Please note that there are no toilet facilities here and there is a £5/€5 parking charge. Alternatively, there is a free car park located at Killykeegan Nature Reserve car park, which is located a further 0.7 miles/1 km past the entrance for Cuilcagh Boardwalk on your right hand side. There are toilet and picnic facilities located here. For the more experienced hikers, take a look at the Cuilcagh Mountain Loop walk (20km, 5-7 hours)

25 Minutes drive away Directions: Blackslee Waterfall Walk Parking, Enniskillen BT93 6FA Join the A46 going out of Enniskillen. Continue along this road for around 8 miles until you see a Fuel station on your right hand side. Take the next left shortly after this, which will be signposted for Forest Drive 4.5 miles, Churchill and Derrygonnelly. This will bring you onto Church hill road. Follow further brown signs for Forest Drive. You will branch left onto Glennasheever road. Follow this for 3 miles and you will see the entrance to the Lough Navar Forest Drive on your right hand side. The forest drive takes you on a scenic loop up to the breathtaking Magho viewpoint where there are cliff walks and picnic benches ideal for a spot of lunch in warmer weather. Allow around 30 minutes for the drive around the loop + extra time depending on how long you wish to stay at the view point for. There are also several stops on the way up. Note no toilet facilities available here.
