Just up the road and not too challenging a walk. Head for the 'stone circle' for great views and a perfect picnic spot.

Our nearest mountain, a good but short climb. Your walk can be extended to include The Twmpa or the Cats Back. Or if you like a really steep stomp ou can start at Hay Car Park on Oxford Road. From there you can join the Offas Dyke and hike up. Its a rewarding walk but very steep in places.

A lovely walk to a waterfall. Pwll y Wrach translates to 'The Witch's Pool' so called due to the dark nature of the pool. If the weather is wet this is a muddy walk so appropriate footwear is advised.

About an half hour drive from us. This car park is at the far end of The Cats Back. It starts very steep but once on the ridge you are rewarded with the most amazing views. The Cats Back runs parallel with The Offas Dyke on the ridge to the left.Once you hit the trig, head left and then after a while a sharp left before heading down the side of the hill into the Olcan Valley. Once you are back on the road head uphill to the car park. About a 5 mile walk in all.
