Bowling Green has a wonderful variety of unique, locally owned restaurants. While we don’t eat out often, these are all highly recommended.

A wonderful old general store serving breakfast, lunch, and suppers. Check their facebook page for current hours, as they have some variability. Bri is known as The Pie Queen of Bowling Green, so I'd highly recommend getting a pie while you're there.

Our daughter first talked us into trying India Oven as takeout after she and her Indian friends from the Gatton Academy used to frequent it. It is now a family favorite that we call ahead and order as carry out to bring home to the farm. Recommend:

While it sounds hokey, I've thoroughly enjoyed every visit to this unique place over the years. It is very interactive, with lots of crowd participation. Pet a kangaroo in their walkabout enclosure, milk a cow, hold a sheep, feed the birds, and a guided cave tour are all highlights. I'd highly recommend this is you have children, and think you'd enjoy it even if you don't.
