Les Pierres Jaumâtres sont, par excellence, lieu de légendes. Au sommet du Mont Barlot, une quarantaine d'énormes blocs de granit émergent et se dressent dans un improbable équilibre. Lieu de sacrifices ? Grand autel des druides ? Tables des déesses mères ou berceau du Diable ? L'incertitude demeure… Toujours est-il que le site (classé) était un lieu de promenade prisé de George Sand et de Chopin. Et qu'il offre une vue panoramique sur le Berry, le Bourbonnais et la Vallée de Boussac.
