This neighborhood feels like it's in the country but still close to town. We have plenty of parking on our property. We have neighbors nearby but it feels like we have a lot of space to roam and be free in our 4 acres plus the 4 acres of woods next door (which you are free to explore). Our neighbors on the lake are all wonderful!

Crystal has great skiing and it's the closest ski resort. However, Snoqualmie Pass also has skiing and it's not far. My favorite ski resort for families is White Pass! It has good snow and everyone can ski together easier.

Ocean Shores is a popular destination with restaurants, shops, bike and scooter rentals, and sometimes even horse riding on the beach! In addition, the beach is a great place to play and relax!

I love going here for a little hike and time on the beach! It's gorgeous and close to home. Plus it's close to downtown Olympia so you can get coffee at Olympic Coffee Roasters or stop at the food trucks or a nearby restaurant for a bite to eat.

It's really close by and the beach is nice. There's also a nice 2 mile hiking trail in the woods. However, you need Discover Pass for parking or pay $10 for the day.

I recommend having a car to get around.
The nearest bus stop is about a mile away. However the train station is only 10 minutes away. You might like the train ride to Portland.
