Best bike riding area in town. Set on the water on the Hunter River where the tugs boats bring in the coal ships. Much to look at and many cafes along this strip. Slightly touristy.

Beautiful relaxed 🏖 beach. A real locals beach. Easy to park and accessible to the lovely ANZAC walk. Safe enough for swims for families (Merewether side has the big dumping waves!)
