This quiet suburb -also known as The Jewel of of the East Bay can boast about their great dining and shopping. Walk along every street and you will find great shops to browse in and fabulous dining places for all meals. The downtown area is flat and very walkable. Metered and covered pay Parking is everywhere and you can even find a few free parking lots!
In the winter there is a small ice skating rink available to the public. If its a concert you want to see, Concord Pavilion is a 20 minute drive from the Cottage.
Lesher Center for the Arts is the downtown place for theater and concerts.
Nature is minutes away with hiking along Mount Diablo, and the Diablo Foothills Regional Park.
