Sightseeing
The old town of Pollensa is a short 7 min drive. Excellent local restaurants, an amazing local market on Sundays, small independent shops. The hike up the steps to the church is very popular. Trip advisor for restaurants is very accurate.

The old town of Pollensa is a short 7 min drive. Excellent local restaurants, an amazing local market on Sundays, small independent shops. The hike up the steps to the church is very popular. Trip advisor for restaurants is very accurate.
Cala Molina is a short 200 meter walk going right out of the apartment, left, then down the stairs. In the season you can rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards. If you walk around the point from the apartment to Cala Molins, there is an overlook into Cala Clara (facing back toward the apartment) with cliff jumping. The height ranges from 6 meters to 2 meters, with fairly easy exits in calm seas. The life guards will close it down if there are waves. This spot is extremely popular with the local teenagers and an absolute blast.

Cala Barques is the main beach, just to the left of the apartment, about 150 meters away. In the summer you can rent paddle boats and stand up paddle boards. Good snorkeling between Cala Barques and Cala Clara.

Food scene
Port de Pollensa is a short 10 minute drive, or an hour long hike. The hike is quite popular outside of the summer months. The “Pine Walk” of Port de Pollensa is famous and very scenic, especially at night. Many excellent restaurants, but it gets crowded in the summer. I recommend getting reservations for dinner. Boats can be rented from the harbor for a 1/2 day or longer. The beach is very nice, especially for families as it is quite shallow and has no current.

Rent a Car
Mallorca does not have great public transport outside of Palma. Car rentals are numerous and generally very cheap. As low as 5-10€ a day in off season, and still around 25€ a day in high season if you book a few months out. There are many great sights close by that are only accessible to by car.
