No trip to the coast is complete without a trip to El's. Old-fashioned carhop service, it has been around since 1959. There are also picnic tables. El's has been featured in Our State, numerous TV appearances, etc. Menu is on sign above building. Their claims to fame are their El's Superburgers & Shrimp burgers. Are they the best I have ever eaten? No, probably not, but you cannot in any way shape or form duplicate the ambiance of that wonderful little place & the memories it invokes for everyone. I know, because Steve proposed to me while we were eating shrimp burgers. It is a trip.
