Take a drive

If the weather does not plan out for cycling or a nice walk perhaps a drive could do the trick. There are plenty of day trip options if you wish to drive through the region and visit the surrounding townships or simply sightsee the most breathtaking sceneries.

We are proud to be an accredited Ride High Country property providing an extensive range of features to assist during your stay. Alternatively, you can hire a bike at several places in town, including electric bikes. The region offers all levels of terrain for all levels of cycling experience. Cyclepath located at 74 Gavan Street can assist with bike hire. Bright Electric Bikes located at 2 Delany Avenue will assist will electric bike hire & All Terrain Cycle Bikes located 97 Gavan Street can assist with mountain bike hire. Further information can be found by visiting the Friendly Team at our Visitor Information Centre located at 119 Gavan St, Bright they can provide you with even more treasures to experience in our amazing Region.
For the mountain bike riders head over to ‘Mystic’ mountain bike park they have tracks starting from beginner to advanced to cater to all skill levels or simply enjoy the jumps at the base of the mountain.

The Murray to Mountains rail trail is a shared path and can be enjoyed by bike or on foot. Whilst enjoying any of the sights you will find a walking track will always be close by.
