Sightseeing

RMR is an excellent destination on summer or winter, fun for the whole family. Summer options are riding the mountain coaster, climbing the aerial attraction, sightseeing and hiking at the top of the gondola and mountain biking! The line up for the mountain coaster can get long but they give you a number that you can check online when it is being called to ride, we recommend getting your number for the coaster and either exploring the other attractions at the resort (such as hiking any of the trails at the Revelation gondola top which range in length from a few hundred meters to 7km) or heading into the downtown of Revelstoke to do some shopping, eating or drinking at one of the many wonderful establishments. In the winter the skiing can get really good with many powder days, which brings everyone out of the woodwork, if you are a powder hound and want first tracks, it may be worth looking into the First Tracks program at the ski hill, for a fee you get to go up earlier than everyone else and beat the line up. Or head up to the base area early, grab a snack and coffee at La Baguette and hop in line. On a bigger powder day people will start lining up around 7:30am for the 8:30am opening, but once the gondola gets rolling the line up moves fairly quickly. Another option is to have a leisurely breakfast at the suite or in town and wait until 9:30-10am, you may not get first tracks everywhere but their is usually plenty of good snow to go around all day! (The latter is my preferred option as I am not a morning person anyways haha!) check the grooming report on the morning on non-powder days as RMR has some of the longest and most fun groomers I have ever skied. Head up to the top of the Stoke Chair and get those legs burning for a T to B (Top to Bottom) on either Snow Rodeo, Pitch Black or Devils Club or do laps up top on Stoke or Ripper chairs or, for the more beginner/intermediate and family friendly options check out the shorter green and blue runs on the Stellar Chair.

Many people agree this is one of the best sushi places around! The food is so delicious, a bit more on the pricey side but worth every penny. Book a room upstairs with a group to sing some karaoke with your sake!
