This restaurant is walking distance from the boat. In fact, all of the amenities for your stay are below this restaurant. They have great burgers and even a 5lb burger if you dare. With a comfortable environment you could eat here with nearly 360 views of the area.

I would recommend getting a Thai dinner TOGO and bringing it to the boat. I love this place- favorite for me is the Yellow Curry, but you can not really go wrong here.

Sightseeing
This is a scenic hike on the other side of the bay, about a 10 drive from the boat - you can kayak straight across TO it also. Wear a lifejacket and bring some water and have fun! There are no easy to get to food places there, so pack a lunch if you take this voyage. There is a park with swings etc at the top of the hill for the kiddos.

There is a park with swings etc at the top of the hill for the kiddos.
You can walk in a circle and it is the perfect amount of time for a friendly walk or jog. This is dog friendly and you will see birds, ducks and a up close look at the state capitol. There is parking scattered around the lake for free.
