The view is amazing. And it is build in an old grounded airplane.

Beautiful Scenery of Ocean and Jungle. The food is some of the best in the area. The wait staff is very good and helpful. We've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.

Jolly Roger is an adventurous drive. You may need a more powerful vehicle and don't go at night. It's fairly high up. Quaint outdoor bar style restaurant. Very relaxing and interesting. They have live music a couple nights a week, depending on the season.
Restaurante Escala is before this one. A little more expensive and a more "Boutique" feel. It is beautiful.

Jolly Roger is an adventurous drive. You may need a more powerful vehicle and don't go at night. It's fairly high up. Quaint outdoor bar style restaurant. Very relaxing and interesting. They have live music a couple nights a week, depending on the season.
Restaurante Escala is before this one. A little more expensive and a more "Boutique" feel. It is beautiful.
Always pleasing menu. Waiters and waitresses try hard to meet your needs. Some are a little language challenged. Or, should I say we Americans are!! Do yourself a favor, be very patient or Learn Spanish! You ARE in Their country.

Very beautiful and relaxing. A little more pricey than in town, but well worth it. The view to the west is the Whale Tail. On a clear day in Sept thru Oct you can see whales playing.
It's only about 5 minutes from Casa Mazzola heading South on Route 34. On the Right.

Right at the end of the rd the house is located on. Small Fee to park and enter but the beach is clean and not too crowded.

El Pavon Waterfall is tucked away and not that well known. To get there, take Route 34 towards Coronado. After a 20-minute drive from Uvita, exit the highway on the left just before crossing a small bridge. There will be a sign‘El Pavon Talapia farm & restaurant’. Follow the road for about 4 kilometers until you see a sign on your left hand saying ‘Cascade el Pavon’ (just past the restaurant). You don’t need a 4×4 car for this road, but it’s definitely bumpy.

You have to get to Manuel Antonio through the City of Quepos.
There are many restaurants and Shopping spots.
Manuel Antonio has some Beautiful sites and great restaurants.
It is a national park and you will see some monkeys and Scarlet Macaws near the restaurants most of the time.

Flying into San Jose Late?We suggest El Rodeo Hotel San Jose
We always stay in San Jose at the El Rodeo Hotel. Some of the roads are dark and winding. The next morning we have breakfast and take our time on the 3 hour drive to Uvita.
On our trip back we stay the night at El Rodeo again since our flights to the US tend to be fairly early. We have dinner there. The food is delicious! The rooms are clean and comfortable.
