At the Chaple in Bruton is a boutique hotel but in addition has a wonderful artisan bakery, wine store, restaurant and event space. There is loads on and its definitely worth checking their website for live music and events. Set in the heart of Bruton with its great range of local shops and galleries.

The George at Longbridge Deverill is a five minute drive away. It is a family friendly local pub serving the usual range of pub grub and they also serve breakfasts. They have lots of outdoor seating, their prices are very average for pub grub and they do a great fish and chips.

The Prince Leopold Inn at Upton Lovell is a real gem and a firm fave of ours. This lovely pub with a great riverside garden, is popular with its locals and really friendly and welcoming. Fantastic food and brilliant staff but we recommend booking as it gets busy.
