WELCOME TO LEICESTER MUSEUM & ART GALLERY
A family friendly day out, the galleries include Ancient Egypt, Dinosaurs, Wild Space, the Victorian Art Gallery, Arts & Crafts Gallery, Picasso Ceramics: The Attenborough Collection and Leicester's internationally renowned German Expressionism collection. Formerly known as New Walk Museum.
The museum hosts a vast array of temporary exhibitions, featuring works from the collections and touring exhibitions from national museums. Plus a range of activities from entertaining talks, children’s handling sessions, lunchtime concerts, licensed for weddings, civil ceremonies and available for private hire.
Visit the gift shop to buy a range of exhibition merchandise and contemporary crafts, or pop by the Museum Cafe to recharge with free wifi and refreshments.

Enjoy the rich history and the enchanting beauty of almost untouched nature; marvel at oak trees that are over 500-years old in the medieval deer park, see Old John tower - one of Leicestershire's most famous landmarks at highest point of the park, be peaceful alongside the Leicestershire Yeomanry war memorial for the Boer War and World Wars 1 and 2, and walk alongside the beautiful stretch of water, waterfalls and pools of the River Lin.

Unlike any other theatre in the UK, we have no traditional backstage area. Audiences can enjoy the full theatre making process, peek behind the scenes and maybe even spot an actor or two dashing from the stage to their dressing room or enjoying a coffee in our Café. Our curved façade is made from 1,192 tonnes of steel and 46000m² of glass.
Managed by Leicester Theatre Trust, Curve is a registered charity providing engaging world- class theatrical experiences for our local communities. We enable people of all ages and backgrounds to access, participate in and learn from the arts, nurturing new and emerging talent.
