The club house is great for breakfast and/or lunch. Delicious salads, burgers and sandwiches with the best French fries! Beautiful view of the course with inside and outside seating.

There are several restaurants inside the casino with festive atmosphere and good food. Completely non-smoking building so pleasant for dining and maybe a little gambling fun.

Shelton has several restaurants and a lot of antique stores and some fun secondhand stores too. Shelton is a historical logging town with a nice museum right on Railroad Ave, the heart of downtown.

Hoodsport is the gateway to Lake Cushman and several challenging trails such as Staircase hiking trail. The little town has a few small restaurants that serve pretty good food and there's the ice cream store and a few cute shops all on the main Highway 101. Hoodsport is about 30-40 minutes from the Lake Escape.

The little town has a few small restaurants that serve pretty good food and there's the ice cream store and a few cute shops all on the main Highway 101. Hoodsport is about 30-40 minutes from the Lake Escape.
Neighborhoods
Our neighborhood is quiet but in the summer the lake gets pretty busy. It's fun to watch the wake boarders and water skiers but also fun to take advantage of the quiet time on the lake too with paddle boarding and kayaking or just sitting at the firepit roasting marshmallows. You'll see a lot of that during your stay. We see a lot of wildlife, especially deer. Please be careful when driving around, they can really surprise you. There are lots of nice walking trails and logging roads right across the road from us if you like to hike in the woods. Be sure to take a GPS with you though! Hikers/walkers have seen all types of wildlife in those woods, including bears and bob cats.
