An awesome hiking trail. Good for beginners. Go right before sunset. Once you reach the top, you will see the beautiful Shenandoah River and the sun setting! You can also camp out there too.

Really good Mexican food. The drinks are good too. This spot does charge for anything extra, even flavored margaritas. It is worth it, though. this place is right on the walking mall, downtown Winchester. Lots of other shops and stores, and history there.

This bookstore is fantastic! A great place to get books or just to peruse. If have children or want to purchase gifts, this is the place. They have SO many books to choose from. A great place for educators to buil their libraries.

The Shenandoah Apple Blosson Festival
The Shenandoah Apple Blosson Festival is a 10-day celebration that is a staple in Winchester. It is something you just can't miss if you are in the area. Schools close for the event! It's just that big of a deal. It usual starts late April, early May. There are over 40 events including a carnival, seminars, hall of fame inductions, and fun for everyone.
