This Loteria themed mexican food spot is one of the most flavorful and cultured restaurants on the west side. Their Birria and Jackfruit are addicting. They offer Vegan, vegetarian, and carnivore diet options, as well as some traditional market items for sale. Of all the places on my list, I cannot recommend this enough. Both take out and dine in available.

The closest restaurant to La Puerta Azul. Known for its delicious and very authentic cuisine, craft drinks, home made tortillas and killer views. Great place for groups.

Tucson's oldest dive bar. This place has such a historical story to it dating back to the prohibition, that you can still feel the energy in the people. Despite ignorant assumptions, dive bars are actually very welcoming and open to new comers, and the Buffet bar is no exception. The patrons are all nice, the bartenders are like family (and sometimes sassy), and the drinks are always strong. Its in downtown, so its a great home base whether you decide to catch a show, dance, or grab a bite. Kids not allowed.

Swanky craft cocktail bar without any pretentious tendencies. Its drink selection is vast, from beers and wines, to exotic liquors. The atmosphere is sooooo comfy and they have a corner table with games. Pool lovers come from all around to play here.
