Closest Starbucks to our house. Fun fact: the manager of this Starbucks once told me that they have the busiest drive through of any Starbucks in the country. In the mornings, everyone goes on their way to work and it literally backs up traffic on Capitol Ave.

Beautiful 1.5 mile walkway along the downtown canal with green spaces, restaurants, and apartments all along it. Very clean and peaceful. You can rent paddle boats during the summer. The Indiana State Museum, Eiteljorg museum, and NCAA Hall of Champions are at the south end of the canal near White River State Park.

20,000 square feet of underground passageways on the northeast corner of Market and Delaware streets in downtown. Kind of creepy, but people take tours and say they're cool.

This monument marks the very center of our city. It's a good place to start for a walking tour of downtown. Admission to the museum used to be free, but I believe they charge a fee now. The park surrounding the museum is called New Fields and has a lot of outdoor art, trails, and other cool stuff (https://discovernewfields.org/).

This is a great store to buy gifts and other items made by local vendors. They also have some funny gag gifts. I could easily spend hours here just looking at stuff and laughing. They have a lot of really funny, witty things. It's not super cheap, but very unique.

One of our favorite bars. It is a video bar with great music and videos playing all the time. It's a bit more upscale than other bars on our list and a bit more pricey, but the vibe is amazing. The dance floor upstairs gets crowded late on Fridays and Saturdays.

This is more of a pedestrian trail (bikers, walkers, runners) but is great because it is very long and has few road crossings (only 4, I think). You can find it just a block and a half south of our house and runs 6.9 miles. It is paved.
