Bike paths
One of the most unique and wonderful parts of HHI is the bike paths. You can ride your bike nearly everywhere on the island. There are many places to rent bikes. Most of the paths are shaded to make for a more enjoyable ride in the very hot summer months. Pedals is a great option. They will deliver to your door and pick up bikes when you’re done.

Make dinner reservations 1 - 2 months before you arrive
Especially during the summer months (approx. Apr - Oct), you'll need reservations for dinner. Most restaurants are on Open Table or Resy. Sometimes you have to call. If you don't make a reservation, the wait can be hours long.

Ocean Breeze Pools
There are 3 pools in Ocean Breeze. To get to the closest pool to 45 Ocean Breeze, go out front door and turn right then right again at end of building. Make left between buildings and you will run into pool. Go around fence to the left.
To get to the largest pool, go out front door, turn left, turn left again at end of building. When you see “Fire Lane” sign, turn right, walk straight and you will see pool on your right. Pools are closed November - March.

Park at Savannah Belles Ferry for hassle free Savannah trip
Parking in Savannah is insane. Drive to Savannah Belles Ferry, park and take the ferry to River Street in Savannah. Very walkable, no car needed.
