Mount Nebo is worth visiting for all travelers. The top of the hill where you'll find the viewing platform, Moses Memorial Church and the Serpent Statue is approximately 710 meters above sea level, and this place is absolutely gorgeous.

Even in early winter, with a slight mist obscuring the see of Galilee, the site is worth visiting. Note, that although you can see both the Syrian and Palestinian border - its a perfectly safe area.
