Def 1 of my most fav places to dine locally. New w/ (now) outside seating. Fantastic thin crust pizza, salads, wine list, everything freshly made. Jack is the proprietor & is a doll. Chef superb!

Now called "Laura's Pleasant View Diner". 5 min drive. Super b-fast. Gr8 $s, solid food (and lots of it). They have liquor, too. Laura has worked there since a teen & now owns the establishment.

Wonderful views from the large outside deck and covered bar as well as solid, good food and wine list. The fair is Greek, Mediterranean, and Italian. Live music on Friday nights and some Saturdays.

Incredibly reasonable deli with seating inside. You can see quite a few college students from Bryant University throughout the day because of their prices and quality of sandwiches, soups, etc. Also, many of the local corporate headquarter's employees with go here for lunch.

The chef from another well-known, high-end restaurant purchased this restaurant and is now doing well with this new restaurant. It's a smaller and more quiet crowd. I recommend seating in the bar area as well as at the bar, too. Great food and creative American food menu.

Huge bar and restaurant with convenient light strip quasi outlets to charge your cell phone. I've never seen a bar offer that feature so I thought that was quite creative. Great Mexican restaurant with tasty drinks. Fantastic wait staff and bartenders. Very friendly, too.

If you've not been to Waterfire before, you must go. It's an extravaganza like you've never seen before, with floating caldrons burning wood in the center with gondolas staffed with volunteers in black and white striped t-shirts and hats, just like Italy. Gregorian chant music is playing and the city is gorgeous with it's buildings lit. See https://www.waterfire.org for their schedule.

Great place for walking, biking, running, (unfortunately no rollerblading or skateboarding), the beach and swimming, kayaking, too. One lap around the lake is approximately 2 miles. The park closes as dusk. It is only a 5 minute drive from the condo.

Fabulous place for a quiet walk in the woods or birding. Very peaceful and refreshing. A nice way to wind down the week. They have interesting events as well. Very close to the condo. Only a 5 minute drive across the street from The Smithfield Commons shopping area. The Audubon Society is tucked in the woods and is not viewable by the road.
