Monadnock Mountain is reputed to be one of the most hiked mountains in the world with over 125,000 people climbing it every year. This is a challenging hike along the side of the mountain rewarding views from the summit. The trails are very steep in places but can be completed in a half-day.

This is mountain is a relatively easy hike. Since the trailhead is located fairly high up the side you don't have to commit a full day to get the great views from the top. Also lots of wild blueberries during the season.

A great place to get food and huge, awesome ice cream. There is a nice place to eat outside. They also have an indoor dining room, but we always sit outside at the picnic tables and watch people come and go. If you want ice cream they have lots of flavors and it is good quality, and trust me the "kiddie" size is HUGE!

There are a couple of trails around this lovely body of water which offer different levels of challenge.
