Petit Jean State Park covers over 2,500 acres. This is located about two miles from where you are staying. Enjoy hiking, spectacular views, and unique history.
Walk to the 95' Cedar Falls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Arkansas, experience the ancient geology on the Seven Hollows Trail, take an easy hike on the Bear Cave Trail to see a unique rock formation, or enter Rock House Cave and view ancient pictographs. There are plenty of trails for everyone, ranging from easy to moderate and strenuous.
There are also plenty of overlooks on the mountain. Be sure to check out the Cedar Falls Overlook, as it is one of the most photographed waterfalls in Arkansas.
