Very good walking shoes are recommended. Please be aware of any bushfire dangers before entering during the summer months.

Driving is the best way to travel through the mountains

Travellers must be careful driving through the Dandenong Ranges on very windy days as trees can fall. Travellers should also be mindful of bushfire ratings during summer months and avoid the area if extreme fire warnings are in place.
