All you can eat sushi buffet for a reasonable price. Good value for money. Set in an old house at "Bakklandet", a very scenic area of Trondheim. Sabrura is on your way to/from town, if you choose to walk.

Credo restaurant is a one star Michelin Restaurant. Here’s what Guide Michelin says: ‘Chef-owner Heidi's surprise, multi-course tasting menu is built around sustainability and local produce, and showcases meats from nearby farms and seafood from Trondheim Fjord. Cooking is creative yet understated, and both the dishes and the service have a comfortingly natural style.’
If Credo is not an option, either due to budget restrictions or lack of available seats, try Jossa - the bib Gourmand alternative in the same premises, owned an run by the Credo chef. Great food.

Kristiansten Fortress provides a 360 degrees view of Trondheim. It's a relatively short uphill walk from idyllic Bakklandet area to the fortress. Outdoor café is open during summer.

Gamle Bybro is an old wooden bridge over the river Nidelv. On the eastern side of the bridge lies the idyllic area "Bakklandet", with plenty of outdoor cafés and boutiques. The commercial centre of Trondheim lies on the western side of the bridge.

Gamle Bybro is an old wooden bridge over the river Nidelv. On the eastern side of the bridge lies the idyllic area "Bakklandet", with plenty of outdoor cafés and boutiques. The commercial centre of Trondheim lies on the western side of the bridge.

Take the tram, or the bus to Bymarka for nature walks or a run. Buy food and drinks in some of the rustic cafés in the area, see www.elgsethytta.com, www.lianrestaurant.no.

How to get around in Trondheim from my place
Walk, take the bus, rent a bike or scooter, or catch a cab.
How to get around in Trondheim from my place:
WALKING
The easiest and fastest way to go from my place to (and from) the city centre is walking. The walk down the very steep hill “Bergsbakken” takes approx. 20-25 minutes. Add another 5 minutes for the walk back.
BUS
You need to purchase your bus tickets in advance. Download the app “AtB Mobilett” and add your credit card details. To see real-time bus information, download the app “AtB Reise”.
Going TO the city centre: Walk down “Bergsbakken” (600 metres – 6-8 minutes). When you reach the intersection at the end of the hill, cross over to the other side of the street, where you can catch the no. 25 or 28 bus to the city centre. The stop is called “Jonsvannsvegen”. Buses TO the city centre are driving south.
Going FROM the city centre: You have two options, but both options include 600-800 metres of walking.
• Bus number 25: Get off at stop “Jonsvannsveien”. Walk back 5 metres, then take left up the steep hill “Bergsbakken”. The walk will take you approx. 10 minutes.
• Bus number 22 (Tyholt): Get off at the last stop “Strinda vgs”. Walk back two blocks (towards the south), turn right when you reach “Sigurd Slembes vei”. Follow this street until you see my house at the end of the street. Distance: approx. 600 metres.
BICYCLE
You may rent one of the many city bikes from «Trondheim Bysykkel» to get around town. There are more than 50 “bike stations” throughout the city. “Tyholttårnet” station is approx. 6-8 minutes walking distance from my place.
Electric SCOOTERS
There are plenty of electric scooters around town. Download an app and ride.
TAXI
• Trøndertaxi: Dial 07373.
• Norgestaxi: Dial 08000.
The operator will ask for your departure address, and to which address you are going. You may pay by debit or credit card in the taxi.
