Makati is generally walkable. If not, we have Jeepneys you can ride everywhere that can stop anytime you want to.
if you have an appointment out of Makati, the best way is to book a car-hailing service called Grab. Taxis are also available everywhere around.
Frases úteis
Remember your "Ate" and "Kuya"!
You can call almost everyone Ate or Kuya. The guard at the lobby, the sales lady at the mall, and the waitress at the restaurant. Ate is for "Sister" and Kuya is for "Brother".

Locals are generally getting better prices than tourists. But tourist prices should not be too much. When you think the price is not right, trust your gut and check the internet.

Bring Comfortable Tropical Clothes
We are a tropical country, we only have hot and rainy seasons so anticipate the humid temperature. I recommend bringing a small sling bag with you so it is safe and comfortable when you stroll.
