From the house head N, turn E on Gillis (the alley) and keep going straight. If you hit a dirt path you’re going in the right direction! That brings you to Warehouse Market which has a ton of great stuff to check out!!

One of our favorite things to do is bike the NW side of the TART trail up to Farm Club for drinks and a snack! The food is all from their farm, they have a little produce and local artist products as well!

It’s about 6-7 miles one way to FC, but you can take the TART 98% of the way there! *the TART is an amazing pedestrian path, please do your part to maintain safety on the trail by not riding too fast. Be warned, you will cross a number of busy streets!

This is a FABULOUS town to bike to. About 19 miles one way, you will definitely get your workout for the day! There is a bus you can take with your bike back into town!

We LOVE Crystal during the winter months! Skiing and snowboarding has never been so accessible! *if you are accustom to larger mountains you may have to change your mindset a bit, and appreciate how short the chair lift ride takes and how often you are right next to the lodge! ;) truly it is a blast and a half, regardless of if you’re getting out there for the first time or are an old pro. The mountain isn’t too crowded and has fabulous night skiing! Check it out!

Looking to get out of down town but not go too far? Check out the spring to fall hiking and winter skiing/snowshoeing at Hickory Hills! Very close to the house, there are some great views of the city, a must see in fall!
