I love this hike! It is surreal. It is 1.5 hours from our place or 1 hour to the painted hills and another hour to the blue basin. A great day trip to do both!

The painted hills are especially vibrant at sunset! A great day trip with Blue Basin. Be sure and stop in Mitchell at Tiger Town Brewery on route. Located just out of Dayville, a very picturesque small town.
