It is a popular ski destination in winter, it can be accessed by the free ski bus or even walking. The ski bus stop is right outside the building of this place. In Summer, you can do mountain biking, pump track, sommer park with zip lines etc. For all seasons, Vestlia has a very nice indoor waterpark, swimming pool and restaurant. The waterpark might only open to Vestlia guests during high season, call +4732087200 in advance if you plan to go.

It takes 5 mins to drive to Geilo beach. There is ice bathing in winter, and a superb sandy beach in summer for the whole family to enjoy relaxed beach days. :)

The lake Ustedalsfjorden behind the building offers various activities all year round. In winter, it has cross country ski routes that connect to the Geilo skiing network. In summer, you can do fishing, swimming, hiking and cycling around the lake (10km).

Prestholtseter loop is long day hike in summer and cross-country loop in winter. The view is fantastic, and you can stop by the cabin half way of the loop for a cozy break with warm waffles and coffees.

Geilo culture church has a beautiful architecture, which can be seen from the balcony of this place. You can visit the church through a short walk beside the lake. There are art exhibitions all year round on the second floor of the church.
