Here you can enjoy some cross country skiing. This place have trails for every skill level. It also has a light trail, so you can even enjoy some evening cross country skiing.
From one of Norway's highest base areas, 680 m.o.h, seven lifts bring you all the way up to 1300 m.o.h.
Almost the entire ski center is located above the tree line, so you are not tied to narrow trails in the forest, but can explore exactly where you want in the mountains! Due to our unique high mountain nature, the number of slopes will vary, but there are normally about 12 slopes, with a total length of about 15 km.
Røldal Ski Center has a capacity of over 7500 people per hour, and you can get from bottom to top in 10 minutes
The season usually lasts from the turn of the month November / December to the second weekend in May. The average snowfall is about 1100 cm per season, this ensures plenty of fresh produce. We have two warm rooms, ski rental and workshop for skiing and snowboarding. In the high season we prepare a cross-country trail towards Røldalssåto, 1422 m.o.h, about 10 km each way.
In addition, we run a cross-country trail into Seljestadjuvet. Other cross-country trails can be found at Seljestad and in the center of Røldal. Welcome to Røldal Ski Center - a snowy experience!
