Tree Brasserie: The mulberry tree is located in an inner courtyard located in the heart of Rehovot and is an island of silence in the busy center of the city. In the yard there is a mulberry tree that is about 120 years old and around it a different and special place has been created that is designed in a romantic style and creates a homely and pleasant atmosphere. The service at the place is extremely kind and friendly and the food is delicious! You can drop in at noon and enjoy lunch, sin with a night menu and sip a selection of fine alcohol alongside it.

Bell Hill On the top of the hill on Ya’akov Street, near the Dondikov House close to guard’s booth, the colony bell was installed (probably around 1891). There were two iron pillars built on the ground and a small roof above them hung the bell. As they pulled the rope attached to the clapper, the bell rang. Six times a day the ringing would be heard from Bell Hill 7am to go to work Lunch at 11:30 At 12:30 to end the lunch break, back to work - the people Back at work at 3pm - for horses (maybe after being fed) At 4pm to finish the job At 8:00 pm ringing for guards - the time of the watch came, from which time strangers were forbidden to move into the colony. During this period, the bell was a clock for most of the residents of the colony. Over the years, the number of daily rings has changed according to the needs of the colony. Besides the regular ringing, the bell would ring every good or bad event in the colony - for the annual meeting of the people, for the election of a new committee or for other meetings on various important matters.

Beit Yosefzon is a historic building and the first residence built in Rehovot. The cornerstone for the house was laid on 1890, and it served as a prototype for the first houses in the settlement in terms of construction style, materials, and the wall that surrounds it. Beit Yosefzon played a significant role in the early development of the city, serving as a meeting place for the first general assembly of the colony, where the first committee was elected.Today, the building has been renovated and operates as a chef restaurant, but it still maintains its original character and charm. It's conveniently located just around the corner, so even if you don't dine at the restaurant, we recommend stopping by to appreciate the building's historic significance and its contribution to the development of Rehovot.
