This was the first Mormon Temple to be completed. Early settlers thought it was so far out of town when it was built, now it is in the center of town. Free tours through the visitor center and beautiful landscaping. Nice lights and decoration for the Christmas season.

This is a ghost town that was one of the early communities when this area was first settled. There is a community hall and two houses remaining. This is where much of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid with Robert Redford and Paul Newman was filmed. The bicycle scene is the iconic setting for the movie and filmed there. There is also an old cemetery about 1/2 mile from the houses and is a great example of an old western cemetery.

The main attraction and the reason most people are visiting our house. Zion is unlike any place I have seen and is amazing. There are many great hikes to do. If you are planning to do the Subway or Narrows in full, go online and get a permit in advance, there are a limited number of permits available.
Zion is getting quite crowded and parking can be an issue. I recommend departing to the park about 7 am to facilitate getting a parking spot in the park. Alternatively, you can park in Springdale and ride the shuttle in but it is better to park within Zion if possible.

Brian Head is a ski town that provides great skiing in the winter. In the summer you ride the ski lift to the top and mountain bike down the slopes or hike. Elevation is about 10,000 feet. Close to Cedar Breaks so potentially something to pair the visit with.
