Wineries, they’re fun to visit for tastings and to view the beauty of the Traverse City Suttons Bay area
Our home is situated within 3 miles of five different wineries.
On the 77 acres we have a walking trail that travels around the property as well as over to Mawby Vineyards. You can enjoy views of the West Bay as well as the hills and valleys of the countryside. We have a large wraparound porch as well as an inground heated swimming pool open May to October weather permitting. We are also located between Suttons Bay and Traverse City, fantastic restaurants shopping and sightseeing are just 10 or 15 minutes in either direction!
This area also offers boat rentals sailboat cruises, The Tart Trail A paved trail running from Suttons Bay to Traverse City about 16 miles for walking running bicycling cross country skiing etc.
There is also beach access to the west bay less than 10 minutes away,
also in Suttons Bay or Traverse City beach. You have a nearby grocery store bike rentals ice cream shop unique shopping artistic designs beautiful scenery.
Also booking in the winter we have an on property ice-skating rink, sledding hills, downhill skiing approximately 35 miles away at Crystal Mountain The Homestead And the tart trail for cross country skiing hiking or snowshoeing.
Many fantastic restaurants to choose from in Traverse City also in Suttons Bay, foodies love to come to this area!

They also offer hands on cooking classes (3 day advance booking) which you'll love! As well as some holiday wine dinners, i.e. Naughty and Nice Wine Dinner offered in December, then just a short ride back to the Vineyard House to spend the night!
